Formation Processes Optimization of Porous Silicon Structures with Reduced Cytotoxicity

Abstract

The paper presents results of several experiments to determine the cytotoxicity of porous silicon structures synthesized by different methods. Crystalline and amorphous, micro- and nanoporous silicon layers with and without annealing were studied. Cytotoxicity was studied by fluorescence micrographs and by standard colorimetric MTT testing.
