Abstract

The contribution of final-state interactions to the muon transverse polarization in the decay K + → µ+ v γ is calculated within chiral perturbation theory to O(p 6) terms. It is shown that the O(p 6) corrections to the transverse polarization are much smaller than the O(p 4) leading contribution.
