Abstract
The dependences of the ionization potential on atomic number Z and the number of electrons Ne in the multicharged ions of elements with atomic numbers in the range 18 ≤ Z ≤ 54 are analyzed. The revealed regularities are described by simple polynomials based on several small polynomial coefficient tables to within one percent, which makes it possible to estimate the ionization potentials of all multicharged ions from this range with a good accuracy.
