Abstract
The mechanism of condensation of a weakly nonideal Bose gas into a superfluid state (described in [1]) is analyzed by taking into account strong density fluctuations. The probability of occurrence of an optimal fluctuation leading to the formation of a superfluid phase is calculated. The relationship between the results of this study and the analysis presented in [1] is discussed.
