Goldberg’s Number for Magneto-Acoustic Finite Amplitude Waves

Abstract

One-dimensional magneto-acoustic finite amplitude waves moving perpendicularly to a magnetic field in a viscous heat- and electric-conducting medium are considered. We demonstrate how Goldberg’s number and values that depend on it can be generalized in the case.
