Abstract
The electron shell has a critical effect on the processes of both quenching and feeding of the 229mTh isomer. To assess the role of resonant conversion and the implementation of the electronic bridge mechanism, a technique with a delay between the moment of formation and registration of single-charged ions of no more than a millisecond is necessary. The paper discusses the preparation of an experiment to search for the decay of 229mTh in a single-charged ions.
