Abstract

Five species of bats have been revealed from surveys in three caves and one adit in Kemerovo oblast, Western Siberia. The study area covers a part of the Salair Mountain Ridge located at the junction of Altai krai, and Novosibirsk and Kemerovo oblasts, which are still insufficiently studied for bats. At the same time, this area may be important for bats in the study region, both during the wintering period and during the summer breeding season. Information on the bat species composition is provided, with the sex when determined.
