New species of turbelliaria in the fauna of the Urals

Abstract

New species of Turbellaria were found for the fauna of the Urals in lakes of the Southern Urals: Microstomum giganteum Hallez 1890 (Macrostomida, Microstomidae), Otomesostoma auditivum (Plessis 1874) (Proseriata, Otomesostomidae), and Prorhynchus stagnalis Schultze 1851 (Lecithoepitheliata, Prorhynchidae). The morphology of these species is described and illustrated. The data on their biology and distribution are given.
