Abstract

The analytical capabilities of a drop-spark spectrometer in sample introduction into an electrolyte anode are studied. It is shown that the transfer of a substance across an electrolyte anode–plasma interface occurs selectively (without colloidal sputtering), which is especially clearly manifested for Pb and Cd in concentrated NaCl solutions. Using lead as an example, the effect of the state of the analyte in the electrolyte anode on the signal is demonstrated.
