Abstract

The role of electrostatic and hydrophobic factors in the formation of ion associates of anionic surfactants with oxygen- and sulfur-containing chalcogen pyrylium cyanine dyes was shown. Spectroscopic parameters and stability constants of the associates were determined. Procedures were developed for the photometric and test determinations of anionic surfactants in synthetic detergents and biological materials.
