Abstract

The main statements of the theory of vibrations of piezoelectric elements (PEEs) in the form of thin bounded plates of different shapes are considered and a technique for calculating their resonance frequencies (vibration modes) is developed. A technique for calculating and constructing the elastic fields of vibrating rectangular and square anisotropic plates is proposed. Requirements are formulated and methods are demonstrated that make it possible to obtain single-mode vibration systems and systems that are characterized by partial degeneracy of vibration modes of PEEs in the form of rectangular and square piezoelectric plates, rings, and disks.
