Abstract

In this study, a combined computational and experimental method was developed in order to restore the thermal properties of materials. The method is based on the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm for multi-dimensional optimization. It allows adjustment to maintain databases on materials for the simulation of casting technologies and the prediction of cast defects. The experiments were utilized under real conditions at the factory to test and verify the developed method.
