Synthesis of Butterworth filters for increasing the interference immunity of acoustic-emission signals

Abstract

Increasing interference immunity in registering acoustic signals is an important engineering task for the acoustic-emission technique. Frequency filtering is an efficient and advanced filtering technique. This study shows that interference immunity increases with Butterworth filters.
