Abstract

An analytic expression that describes the field of a magnetic mark applied by an electromagnet equipped with an E-type core is obtained on the basis of experimental results. The dependence of characteristics of the magnetic field of the mark on the main parameters of the electromagnet is analyzed. Guidelines for the selection of the optimum parameters are given.
