Abstract

Sorption capacities of sorbents measured with the radiation-chemical-modification and initial-matrix techniques are studied. It is shown that high values of the adsorption capacities of radiation-modified sorbents are determined by the formed structural characteristics and the chemical nature of the surface. It is established that radiation-modified sorbents with high thermal stability allow the use of high temperatures in desorption of the analyzed compounds and provide higher speed and sensitivity of the analysis on the whole.
