Abstract

A radionuclide method is proposed for prompt analysis of molding compounds used for production of casts in the machine-building industry. This method is based on radiating the tested material with a narrow beam of γ quanta emitted by a radionuclide. Application of this method in industry enables reduction of the amount of defective products.
