Abstract

The new method of the automated identification of inclusions based on the data of roentgenographic inspection is described in this paper. The method makes it possible to automatically estimate the values of effective atomic number and the mass density of inclusion material, including estimation error, and to identify targeted inclusion. The technology described here is part of software of X-ray security inspection systems.
