Abstract
Ground level ozone over northern Scandinavia is analyzed for different atmospheric circulation patterns (according to the Vangengeim’s classification). It is ascertained that variations in ground level ozone, caused by changes in circulation, are 3–13 μg/m3, or about 10% of its characteristic seasonal values in warm seasons, and up to 15–20% in cold seasons. Long-term variations in ground level ozone are estimated in the region in the case of a change in circulation epochs on the basis of revealed correlations between the ground level ozone and circulation patterns.
