Statistical prediction of the pollution of the urban atmosphere. 1. Statistical regularities of the interdiurnal variations of the carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxide concentrations

Abstract

Diurnally average concentrations and their increments for carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides according to the data of observations in Moscow are statistically analyzed. The probabilities of these species exceeding the threshold concentrations are estimated. The interrelation between the carbon monoxide concentrations during weekday and weekend days is determined.
