Growth kinetics of single copper crystals: the concentration dependence

Abstract

The growth of single copper crystals electrodeposited on a tungsten electrode is studied at different concentrations of copper ions in the electrolyte solution. Information is obtained on the diffusion coefficient of copper ions, the exchange current density at the crystal-solution phase boundary and the charge transfer coefficient at a constant temperature.
