The formation of nanosized molecular ensembles in highly dilute aqueous solutions

Abstract

The article published below, based on a paper heard at a meeting of the RAS Presidium, describes the discovery of a previously unknown basic phenomenon in the behavior of highly dilute aqueous solutions. It explains the activity of solutions of biologically active substances not only at the typical concentrations but also at low and ultralow concentrations and, consequently, opens prospects for the broad practical application of this phenomenon, particularly in the production and use of medicaments.
