Abstract
The antagonistic effect of binary mixtures of initiators in the radical chain oxidation of hydrocarbons was experimentally revealed. The kinetics of this process was analyzed by mathematical simulation. It was shown that the antagonistic effect of the initiator mixture can be due to the cross recombination of the initiator radicals.
