Abstract
Relationships of the T- and B-components of adaptive immunity and the psychophysiological status were studied in 14 volunteers in an experiment with 5-day dry immersion (DI) without countermeasures. The comparison of the frequency of deviations in immunity parameters of psychologically different subjects demonstrated the highest frequency of deviations in adaptive immunity in nonanxious and extravert individuals on day 5 of DI. These differences in immune responses to DI exposure as a function of psychological type and temperament point out to existence of a neuroimmune typology and, therefore, the necessity of simultaneous assessment of immunological and psychological parameters for the development of measures of rehabilitation from and prevention of stress in persons with polar psychological status.
