Abstract

The effects of snowdon rose (Rhodiola rosae L.) cryopowder on the cardiorespiratory system was studied using a 7-h bicycle ergometer test. The treatment resulted in more rapid activation of the mechanisms of energy supply to the body during physical load as compared to the control. Moreover, the efficiency of the functions of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems was higher, and the indices of fatigue after long-term physical load disappeared. The cryopowder from the crude material for drugs had a strong protective effect and may be recommended for the use under extreme conditions.
