Abstract
The quantitative parameters of the balanced influence of the sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions of the autonomic nervous system, including the variation range of the histogram of differences between successive electrocardiogram RR intervals, the number of zero differences, and the sum of differences between successive RR intervals, are suggested.
