Disastrous flashflood in the Western Caucasus in July 2012: Causes and consequences

Abstract

The results of field studies in the areas of the Krasnodar krai affected by the flood of July 6–7, 2012, are discussed. Geomorphological, chronological, and hydrological analysis of the disastrous flashflood is carried out.
