Abstract

The specifics of the category of facilities under consideration are emphasized, and the general issues in the methodology of integrated site investigations are considered along with the conditions required for their implementation at the appropriate level. The tasks and significance of each stage of site investigations for the allocation, design, construction, and operation of such facilities are characterized. Special attention is paid to the engineering-geological and geoenvironmental aspects of studies. Characteristic examples are given, in particular, as applied to surveys for NPP.
