Heavy metal dynamics in the periphyton in small rivers of Kola Peninsula

Abstract

The results of studies of heavy metal accumulation by periphyton algae in 12 rivers of Kola Peninsula are presented. The potentiality of the use of periphyton in heavy metal monitoring in water bodies is discussed.
