Abstract

The results of studies on the efficiency of identification criteria for the origin of hydrocarbons in the ecosystem of the Sea of Azov. Their amount in the cells of major planktonic and benthic organisms of the Sea of Azov. The share of biogenic hydrocarbons in their total amount determined by monitoring the oil pollution of the sea is also evaluated.
