Abstract
The need of working out a unified concept of constructing new coal-fired power units for ultrasupercritical steam conditions is considered. Some results of the investigations carried at the OAO Polzunov Research and Production Association for Designing Power Equipment aimed at developing the main power equipment for coal-fired power units with capacities of 660–900 MW and steam conditions of up to 30 MPa and 600/620°C are presented.
