Abstract
A brief analysis of thermophysical problems that appear at the nanoscale level is presented. Recent experimental data and the models for their description are given. Equilibrium (thermodynamic) properties of nanosystems and transport phenomena in these systems are considered. The main differences in the systems behavior at different scales are emphasized. For brevity and convenience, the matters concerning the problem under consideration are identified as “nano power engineering.”
