Abstract

It is shown that plasma-energy technologies can be used for suppressing generation of toxic and greenhouse gases in the furnaces of coal-fired boilers. Hence, application of these technologies can be considered as one of the ways for solving the integrated problem of achieving efficient use of fuel and making coal-fired power stations that are in operation environmentally safe.
