Abstract

Traditional methods for stabilizing outflow of liquid slag are analyzed. A method for stabilizing slag removal using plasma-energy technologies is proposed. Results from thermodynamic calculations and field tests of this technology on the BKZ-640 boiler at the Gusinoozersk district power station are presented.
