Peculiarities of replacement of extended pipeline sections and connection of new sections to existing pipelines

Abstract

The technique of implementing technological operations that precede partial replacement of extended sections of steam pipelines, as well as adjoining new sections to them, is described. It is shown that ignoring the operations suggested may cause reduction in reliability of steam pipelines.
