Abstract
The theoretical dependence of the residual concentration of liquid in a granulated bed and filtering under the influence of gravity force has been found. It has been shown that this concentration is proportional to complex (σμ1 2)0.2, which is determined by multiplying the surface tension σ by the square of the dynamic viscosity of a liquid. The equation for calculating the concentration of surfactants in water that provides the minimum wetness of granulated bed has been obtained.
