Abstract

The decomposition of gas hydrates during the injection of gas into a porous medium is studied in planar one-dimensional and axisymmetric self-similar formulations. The effect of the parameters of the porous medium and the pressure and temperature of an injected gas on the length of the region of gas hydrate decomposition in a porous stratum is analyzed.
