Abstract

The kinetics of the dissolution of carbon dioxide bubbles in water during free rise to the surface in the presence and absence of the effect of ultrasound is studied. In accordance with the model of nonsteady state diffusion, mass transfer coefficients in the continuous aqueous phase are derived, and an analysis of the effect of ultrasound on the process of dissolution is performed.
