Diffusion-convective extraction into an enclosed volume

Abstract

Four model problems describing the extraction from different systems of capillaries into an enclosed volume are studied. Asymptotic relations for the relative extraction yield at the final stage of the process are found for all studied cases. Comparison with experimental data is made.
