Abstract

Chitosan particles were prepared by emulsifying cross-linking method, using chitosan as raw material, liquid paraffin as dispersant, Span-80 as emulsifier, and glutaraldehyde as crosslinking agent. The morphology and characteristics of chitosan particles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, fluorescence and ultraviolet spectrophotometry. G 0.5–G2.0 PAMAM dendrimer was prepared from ethylenediamine (EDA) and methyl acrylate (MA) by Michael addition reaction and amidation. Chitosan was used in the preparation of G0.5 PAMAM. Chitosan-PAMAM (CS-PAMAM) was prepared by the method of preparing G0.5–G2.0 PAMAM dendrimer. The CS-PAMAM molecule was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, fluorescence and ultraviolet spectrophotometry. By comparing the fluorescence intensity of G0.5–G2.0 PAMAM and Chitosan G0.5–G2.0 PAMAM (CS G0.5–G2.0 PAMAM), it is found that CS G1.5 PAMAM has stronger fluorescence intensity. The fluorescence intensity of CS-G1.5 PAMAM is less affected by the pH and polarity of the solution. When CS-G1.5 PAMAM is placed in a cation solution, it is found that CS-G1.5 PAMAM has a large fluorescence change in the Fe2+ ion solution, so it can be used to detect Fe2+.
