Standard Enthalpies of Formation of Isonicotinic Acid and Products of Its Dissociation in an Aqueous Solution

Abstract

The heats of solution of crystalline isonicotinic acid in water and solutions of potassium hydroxide at 298.15 K are measured via direct calorimetry. The standard enthalpies of formation of the acid and products of its dissociation in an aqueous solution are calculated.
