Abstract

The distribution of novocaine in aliphatic alcohol (C3-C9)-solvotropic reagent-salting-out reagent-water systems are studied. The quantitative characteristics of extraction, distribution coefficients (D) and rate of extraction (R, %), are calculated. Relationships between the D of novocaine and the content of solvotropic reagent in the system are established, along with the composition and formation constants of the molecular complexes.
