Abstract

The isotherms of sorption of GeO 2−3 on a synthetic sorbent were obtained at various temperatures. A thermodynamic description of the sorption isotherms by an analogue of the Langmuir equation was suggested. The limiting sorption values, apparent constants, and Gibbs energies of reactions were calculated and compared with the experimental data. The enthalpy and entropy of sorption were estimated.
