The composition dependence of critical temperatures (liquid-vapor) of 1,3,5-trimethyladamantane—1,3-dimethyladamantane binary mixtures

Abstract

The critical (liquid-vapor) temperatures of 1,3,5-trimethyladamantane—1,3-dimethyladamantane mixtures were determined by the ampule method over the whole range of compositions. The dependence of critical temperatures on the mole and weight composition was shown to be linear to within ±0.7 K. The experimental critical temperatures of methyladamantane mixtures were used to estimate the critical temperatures of cis-and trans-1,4-dimethyladamantanes.
