Oscillations of the concentration and size of ion exchanger grains during sorption of amino acids

Abstract

Grain size and concentration may oscillate during the sorption of amino acids from solutions onion exchangers. This phenomenon was observed experimentally in several works. We present its theoretical explanation and report mathematical modeling results.
