Abstract

The activity of massive metallic and deposited oxide catalysts in the decomposition of N2O, which can possibly be used as a propellant, was studied. The data obtained were used to identify the active components such as carriers and transition metal ions and the methods for the preparation of catalysts that can be used as a basis for developing an effective catalyst of the decomposition of N2O.
