One-Component eluents for chromatofocusing in weakly basic anionite columns

Abstract

Descending pH gradients inside anion-exchange columns packed with Silochrom S-120 with grafted ethylenediamine and diethylenetriamine groups were obtained for the first time with the use of one-component eluents. The smoothest quasi-linear gradients were observed for eluents on the basis of citric and 6-aminohexane acids. The possibility of separating amino acids and metal ions by means of chromatofocusing in pH gradients was demonstrated.
