Abstract
A process of sorption of nonionic surfactant, polyoxyethylated nonylphenol (NP-12), on the surface of inorganic polymer, potassium polytitanate (PPT), was studied under different sorption conditions, NP-12 modifier concentrations, and suspension acidities. Quantitative characteristics of sorption process were calculated from the time dependences of NP-12 concentration. The treatment of potassium polytitanate with NP-12 was shown to result in decrease in the agglomeration of PPT particles and increase in its dispersion degree.
