Abstract
A new method for dissolving silicon, germanium, and titanium dioxides via the interaction with HF • TEA (TEA stands for triethanolamine) yielding 1-fluorosilatrane, 1-fluorogermatrane, and 1-fluorotitanatrane, respectively, is proposed.
