Abstract
Solubility in the 2KNO3 + MgCl2 ↔ 2KCl + Mg(NO3)2-H2O four-component reciprocal system was studied for the first time at 25 and 50°C in order to determine the feasibility of preparing potassium nitrate and magnesium chloride at near-ambient temperatures.
