Abstract

Nanocomposites based on zinc oxide nanoparticles and ethylene-propylene-diene rubber were synthesized by the thermal decomposition of zinc(II) acetate. The average size of the ZnO nanoparticles was determined using transmission electron microscopy. The phase compositions of the samples synthesized were identified by X-ray diffraction analysis.
